Welcome to the Clinical Librarians Group Home Page

The Clinical Librarians Group is a special interest group of LIHNN.

 

Terms of Reference

The purpose of the group is to share ideas and best practice to establish common standards and a co-ordinated approach to the delivery of clinical librarianship services across the North West.

Membership of the group is open to all clinical librarians employed in the North West, and any interested librarians whose role involves the delivery of clinical librarianship services. If you are interested in joining the group please contact the Chair.

The chair of the group will be selected, by the group members, for a maximum 12 month term of office. If a co-chairing arrangement is agreed upon each chair will serve for a maximum of 2 years. Chairs are responsible for working together to organise booking of meeting venues, room bookings, drawing up the agenda and ordering catering.  The work of Chairs is facilitated and supported by HCLU Staff and LIHNN Library staff locally.

The Clinical Librarians Group has a Secretary role who does the minutes.

The group welcomes guest attendance from interested parties including students, candidates working towards Cilip qualifications and library knowledge staff working in other sectors. If you would like to attend a meeting please contact the Chair

Next Meeting

The next meeting will take place on the tbc  between 10.30 - 12.30 (with drinks provided from 10). it will be followed by the Trainers Group meeting. Lunch will be provided.
